Imperfect Distraction

One thing I'm constantly annoyed at is the search for perfection. It doesn't exist.
I enjoy the mistakes and little details that create something unique and growing up in an age where music is mostly heard through electronics there are certain pieces I know better for the little audio artifacts that are retained in them. The first track where I noticed one of these mistakes was HIM's Heartache Every Moment (Yes I was 13 once...) anyways, at the end of the piece there is a click, almost like a metronome sound, and I noticed this before any of my friends did but it sparked my interest in noise and imperfection.
The Portsmouth Sinfonia, John Cage and Chris Clark have helped in some ways to help me understand imperfection and whilst most will find the Portsmouth Sinfonia funny (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIm8RZ-WJBA) I personally enjoy the idea that through imperfection we are allowing more people in to music as opposed to just those who already know and have been taught what is "right or wrong".
This is me playing my guitar whilst not really concentrating, I'm not deliberately trying to play it poorly I'm just letting the mistakes happen then I try to return to form.
