The wicked aunts decided to charge a fee for people to see the peach. In this piece, we see have the reprise of the greediness. They don’t let James out of the house to meet any of the children running around, for fear that he will mess things up. At the end of the night they are too busy counting their money to make him dinner and send him outside to clean everything up.
