Finally got an earlier start on the tune this week! It was nice to have more time to flesh it out in Ableton. Another that I started on the M8 and then recorded multiple parts over. Still not happy with the ending, but it is what it is.

Realizing that this has taken on a bit of a secondary purpose as a public journal for me, so I'm compelled to share my thoughts. Feeling more optimistic this week for whatever reason. I think spending more time around the folks I care about makes a big difference. I think that comes across in the tone of this track.

And just like that we're a quarter of the way through the year. Hope y'all are doing well out there
