This tune started out as my first track for 2017 in an effort to make a bunch of EPs in an off year for WeeklyBeats.

The first couple of months started out well and I came up with this track which was in a good demo state with the guitars and drums needing to be re-done. Well, I've finally gotten around to it this week so here is the "finished" track after 12 months in the pipeline. smile

I'm planning on finishing the other track this week so I can finally declare this EP done once I come up with a 3rd track lol.

Lots of breakbeats, heavily inspired by stuff like The Crystal Method with some guitars thrown in for Celldweller / PAIN measure. Tuning is D Drop C.

It feels good to consider this tune "done" because I was working on it up until the final 8 mins! Uploading now with 3 mins to go. Phew. I also recorded some "behind the scenes" video in an effort to get a bit more active on the interwebs so I'll post it here once uploaded to YouTube as well.

Thanks man, it's something I am actively working towards... just trying to come up with the right riff early enough in a given week to inspire a full fledged Celldweller/Blue Stahli styled vocal track because as much as I'm sure I can't sing it's gradually getting more fun to try... wink

OK, so, here's the thing. Why don't we do a collab at some point during this round of Weeklybeats? Would love to try fitting vocals into the stuff I come up with. I could get a rough mix together early one week so you have something to work with and yeah, go from there? Even if it was a project that goes over a month, with other weeklybeats in between. Also, I'm getting the guts up to make a full on vocal track of my own (I've written some verses / a chorus this week, it's aggressive, it's going to be Celldweller/Corey Taylor at this point) smile
