Week 17, and practically the first week where I've gone "man... it's Sunday night, I'm tired, I can't be bothered weeklybeating." Working throughout the pandemic, both on site and at home as an essential call centre worker is starting to take it's toll. Luckily I have one more week to go until long service leave + the arrival of baby #3! I think this beat captures the mood, written in 45 mins or so! Quite a few happy accidents in the end, 90% of the beat was made up by just grabbing the first device/preset I spotted while scrolling through my REASON libraries. I managed to throw in some reversed beats, pitch the outro, the bassline/chords were the first thing I played too! I dig the arp, it's got a super 90s/early 2000s feel.

This scene has always been one I relate to as a call centre worker who politely takes people's shit all day.
