Chapter 9 - Near But Far? (The Pounding BeePeeEhm Heart)

By tuyieu.beats on March 1, 2026 11:56 pm

After a long walk in the muddy waters of BeePeeEhm, the zknightBros struggle to proceed as something beneath their feet starts to pound... within a certain cadence. Now it's impossible to move the legs, grabbed by some weird cable tentacles. Immediatelly, the zbros pull their first weapon at hand and two minijack cables so they can sync in. Now it's a KO II and a PO-16 VS The Pounding BeePeeEhm Heart. Different combinations are tested, FX are sprayed over the water, the portable sub comes in play and... before the battle ends there's a fadeout into a minigame!!! Which one?

This time we got together. For the first time in 9 weeks we got to punch each other's pads and knobs and buttons!!! And talk realtime while jamming and getting crazy and stupid ideas. Time is of the essence, though.  wink
It was harder. Barely had time to put it on the timeline and get something out of it to WeeklyBeats ON TIME.
3 minutes to deadline and the submission was done. SORRY for the 2min of silence. Rendering flaw, too much stress - that was the rest of the song by the way.  smile)

Take care!

LOVE the storyline

oh boy i could tell you some WB deadline horror stories - love a good 2min of silence smile  as long as the track wasn't under 60 seconds smile

Very fresh! Like it!

Yes to hand-played melodies. Love the wobbliness and wonkyness. Great textures and vibes together. Great minds at work, here.
