The Greatest Desert

The (free!) Vital VST (oud & wobble bass) tuned to Buselik Maqam courtesy of the freely available World Scale .tun files from sevish.com. I’ve found this the easiest maqam to start with because its intervals are very close intervals in western temperaments. I’ll attempt to use some more obviously microtonal maqams during the year.

Reminds me of a 90's sci-fi thriller that inexplicably has a scene where they go to Mumbai or something and it's kind of futuristic but still very much traditional. I don't know what .tun files are but I'm going to look into this! Great track smile

Reminds of what I liked the most about the Beyond Good & Evil game soundtrack: captures street music with all of its echoes, distance, etc. Absolutely my jam.

Definitely old school dubstep vibe with the bass wobble, cool fusion of sounds, very original

thanks for keeping the dub alive. nice track.

killin it with the MAXIMUM dub my friend!  very subwoofer friendly.  great playful rhythms and melodies
