Millicent Forest, 1990

By Tristan Louth-Robins on March 11, 2018 12:30 am

More sounds from my Microkorg incribed to the old 424 Portastudio with cassettes from the 1970's. A couple of auxilery FX sends (DD7 delay and EHX Grail reverb).

As for the place: Millicent is a small town in South Australia's southeast. My memory suggests that the town is enveloped by a forest. The town was creepy enough (in Twin Peaksy way); the forest scared the shit out of my as a kid.  I haven't been back there since 1990. We were in and around forests a lot when I was a kid since my dad was really into orienteering in the late 80's/early 90's.

Spooky and evocative. I still miss my Portastudio (died a long time ago).
