All sounds used are originally based on recordings of me playing frame drums. My plan going in was to put something together entirely from my own playing, basically totally disregarding matching up with the measures in the DAW and not moving any recordings in time. But my playing is sloppy, I don't know enough to come up interesting rhythms that play nice with each other, and the whole experience was tedious. It got frustrating fast, and the result reflects that. Much more material was cut than used.

I'd call this a failure as a track, but I'm glad to have made the attempt. I have a greater appreciation for MIDI and a decent set of new samples to use.
