The Last Days Of The Republic (Even The Very Wise Cannot See All Ends)

Welp I almost didn't upload in time.  Realized the file size was almost too large and lost my previous description too! Seeing as I wrote a novel last week I will make this as short as possible.
This week's track was made possible thru Emily's inspiring music for this week.  She sent me an early version and that inspired some piano from me.  During a difficult week she helped distract me and get me back to creating music with a fun purpose.  So big shout out to her and so thankful for this community and being able to share music with you all.  Thanks for listening smile

Simply Gorgeous!

Oh you guys. You've made the world a little better this week, thanks for the ray of hope heart

what a magnificent collab. this makes the track so very special for me, knowing that two of the most sensible musicians are sharing the same vibe. It is an overwhelming feeling. thanks for the piano.

Beautiful layers and sound textures. I love the piano buildup, simple but the whole magic is in the dynamic of the playing. Beautiful one.

Nice smooth ambiance, yet with some tension in it.

Came here right after listening to Emily's version and it's really cool seeing how complementary and yet subtly different they are.  Plus, it's a beautiful landscape to get lost in for a while, so it was nice to spend even more time there.  Awesome collaboration, you two!

This ^^

An interesting flow to the track with a strong conclusion.  Lovely piano tone.

Terrific stuff, great sound design, the pads just flow and play off each other, like that distortion that creeps in at 3:15, progression of this is great leading to the strong piano finish.  Have to check out Emily's version.

Awesome to hear both variations this week. Is that lowered / detuned piano hits in the background that sounds almost like guitar? The piano is such an uplifting element in this variation. It builds so powerfully. Beautifully done! Fav fav fav. The republic may be ending but the sate of your (WB) union is strong!

i. love. community. collaborations. creating. creative. compositions.
when those stabs pierce through the ethereal pads it's a really nice punctuation on the soft blanket being laid down. and then the chords coming through around 5+min mark are a great crescendo towards the softening again as it finishes up. well done and thank you.

This is just beautiful. Great stuff.

Love it. Just evolves, there's magic in the world. Such a great story of creation Emily is amazing. And this community is amazing. Here's to community, we need it need it. Love it.
