Redolent

A cinematic noodle this week.  Started with just the drone pad, piano and brass.   Added some extra strings and woodwinds at the end.  *roadrunners away to the beer and foosball*

Really nice. Made me feel like I accomplished something, lol

Very relaxing. Love the piano. nice atmosphere. Love the ending starting at 2m40.

Super chill. Love how gentle and relaxed it all feels.

Some of these textures remind me of the soundtrack for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Very cinematic and subtle, elegant composition. This is inspiring, I'd love to be able to make something like this track.

I like the minimalist and meditative vibe on this one.  It feels like there's no hurry to get anywhere at all and sometimes that's a really nice feeling to have.

Definitely cinematic.  Could be part of a soundtrack. Early misty morning out rowing across glassy water in a crew scull.  No spaceships or assassins.  Just sunrise over the water. Beautiful piano and string arrangements that pick up very nicely towards the end.

...And then BAM... Dolphins with laser beams (alternate ending).

I feel so alone in this track. It gives me vibes of a man wandering through nature, or people dealing with a traumatic loss as they are immobilized and in shock. Beautiful piece.

oh man that single note being bowed is so emotional.  great piece.  also learned a new word today!

great comment!!  spot on - i can see both of those scenes.

I should probably make music videos to your songs, shouldn't I?They are so cinematic!

I can't wait to get my new speakers and instantly have your songwriting ability, especially piano chord choice THAT'S WHAT YOU PROMISED ME

Spot on title - haunting emotional piece. It does feel introspective, cinematic. Oooh, I like those strings that enter at the end, kinds of a hopeful questions of what's to come!

Hell yeah, beer a foosball at 9:24 am.  Sounds like an awesome day.

This ones cool as hell, I really like what you've done with the string harmonics.  So eerie, but that transition right at 2:40 totally changes the mood of the whole track.

Can never get enough of your piano, delicate yet such presence on this one, awesome mix with the drone and gentle pads, creates all kinds of imagery in your head.

cinematic yes, noodle no. I take my hat off, what you are blowing out here. It is a timeless beauty.

Great piano tone.  Super lovely.  Sounds very familiar.  Where's it from?

Yay for new words!  I learned it myself when I was reading TJ Klune's book "The House In the Cerulean Sea".
"The air was thick and redolent, and it made him slightly dizzy."

The piano?  I tend to use the LABS soft piano most of the time with some extra compression on top.  Though I recently got their  "Orig!inals - Cinematic Piano" as well for a slightly different tone.  Can't go wrong for $29 smile or in the LABS sense, FREE!

Yeah I'm probably thinking of the Soft Piano.  I've definitely used that in the past. Tis good!
