Noise Inside My Head

By Tone Matrix on October 16, 2022 8:47 pm

My 'considerate' neighbors decided to throw a party this weekend.  I was thinking I would try and sample the noise from outside but it was too loud to even comprehend.  There were a couple moments where I had to restart my internal clock in my noggin as the kick drum from the reggaeton kept throwing me off beat.  I think that's actually why this might be my fastest tempo this year.  131 w00p...
I apologize for not being too social lately and falling behind on listening, I shall catch up this week.
Hopefully next week will be a bit calmer..
Thank you for listening.  I hope you are well.

Beautiful. The overall soft touch really does give the track an intimate feel, like music you've got buzzing in the back of your mind that you can't stop thinking about.

Get some rest, know that your song is good and appreciated

well i'm enjoying the up tempo vibes - hope you get some quiet space in your head and in your home soon!

I really like when the piano chords come in towards the end.  They sound really beautiful while the beginning section makes for a nice buildup to it.

That transition of the beat into the piano with the ghostly tone just barely audible behind it all cool

Oh wow what a track. So many things in my head. First, this takes me back to NIN's Ghost tracks. The treatment of the drums is really cool. I loooove how it starts getting liquid towards the end, as if the drums were liquefying into this syrupy sound. And it's done very smoothly, very progressively, as the piano ramps up. What a lovely piece, this is superb.

the noises you are playing with, the hammering beat is going straight into my head too. unfortunately I have a middlestrong headache and react sensitive to the dissonances in the track. but I like it, because it must be like this and you did it. the piano in the end comes in with a soft healing energy. nice one.

Hopefully the neighbours at least waited for the weekend to throw a party, I used to have a neighbour who would blast music on Tuesday nights.  This has a really cool feel and muffled quality to it until it all clears up at the end, really great how it transitions.  Going to be in Florida next week with the family, taking the kids to Disneyworld and Universal, excited for the warm weather.

I like this faster tempo and the static-ey textures, it still has somewhat calm vibe to me, your essence comes through. Kinda different from some of your recent songs, and that's awesome.  Too bad about the part, sound annoying. I've had those neighbors before, it's always amazing how screamingly loud a group of drunk people can be. I'm sure i've been one of them before though. They, and we all, need to listen some tasty Tone Matrix tunes to chill out to.

I love how the tones clash and intertwine in dissonance and consonance, gives feeling to the driving rhythm as if 'pitch driven'... hard to describe, but so tasty in its tension and release effect. Brilliant heart

Only just doing a massive listen/catchup now myself!

This has a really cool sonic imprint.  A narrow yet focused frequency range.

EEK

I'll tell you, I love noise music, I love hardcore screamo music, I like loud repetitive house music but ONLY when I'm in the mood!  If I'm hearing loud sounds when I don't want it, it's so frustrating/triggering!
