This week was a bit more productive as I worked on two projects.  I had procrastinated working on a new cover for a long time.  Thanks to JWH's recommendation and a certain tribute album I finally did one of Nine Inch Nails' "Together"

If you'd like to check out my version feel free to check it out over here and the rest of the artists contributions (which I recommend if you have the time).

I did spend much more time working on the cover than my new WB track this week.  Oopsy... But it did feel much more relaxed working on the WB track because of the happy content feeling of finishing the cover in time. Soooo... yay!? yay!

The feeling of contentment does come through on this track.  Listening to the NIN cover right now and it sounds excellent.  Good job!

good feelings here, some surprising and interesting turns which made me smile. very nice. Cover sounds great, congrats on getting that out, what a cool project!

nice to hear you are working on several projects with a good outcome. I like this track, because it delivers different moods at once and as you are performing the solo piano, I do not miss anything else. great.

You good, this song good. We good.

As always very enjoyable, keep working your piano magic, glad you had such a productive week.  Great tribute/rework of "Together", I really like how you placed the piano as the main focus compared to the original, should be very proud of this one.  How are things in Florida?  I hope all is ok where you are.

Damn, some really delicious chords at the 2/3is mark.  Love this.

The section at 1:18 gave me goosebumps. I lack the musical theory background to understand what you do there, but I like that it feels like there is tension, surprising melodies. The section from 1:52 is really beautiful. The way the track seems to open up in a lighter way towards the end was so tasteful. Really beautiful. I'll check your NIN covers!

oh i'm so glad you posted about that NIN cover here!  the cover was beautiful!  & wow you were on a roll this piece is gorgeous - i know your autumn is very different down south - but it fits the vibe here - i got to go on a hike and enjoy the majesty of the last of the prairie flowers & the tree's starting to turn at the edge of a lake - while a great blue heron flew by... i even saw an eagle as i was leaving driving over the bridge flying over the lake - this could have been the soundtrack to it all smile

i kept meaning to ask if you are safe from the hurricane!?  hoping you are well!

Sorry for the slow reply, thankfully we were south of the storm.  Just a lot of heavy wind and rain for a bit.  smile

This is a lovely piece!  Quite sad and melancholic at times yet there's some powerful chord shifts for some strength.

great ups and downs on this piece.  i like the simplicity.

WHOA amazing cover!
