Moral Fatigue

The title says it all.  For a few days early in the week I actually had my nose in ableton just to say "I wasn't procrastinating".  But of course by Wednesday I hit a wall and didn't come up with anything til Saturday night.  This week I tried to use Stratus (the tinkly piano) a bit more sparingly than last week.  The chord progression I figured out on Spitfire Audio's LABS piano then basically orchestrated the progression with some other LABS string based instruments.  Tanks for listenin!  Hope everybody is well and taking it day by day!

This sounds like pure relaxation in a bottle.  Something to just lay back and float away to.  Very nice.

Awesome man, good to hear the full version after the teaser on Instagram today.  This is so like calmly powerful, very difficult to describe.  The production is great too, its like film score ready.  I’m going to check out those LABS instruments you were talking about.  I love free shit and their software sounds awesome.

Very nice piece.  Floats through the air nicely.

eternal beauty. perfect.

Super soothing. Thanks for this.

Sounds very nice. gotta give LABS a shot as well!

Really gets interesting when I hear those piano chords pick up 1/4 in.  Great color in the chords.  Before that, very brooding but the piano chords over the pads really lift it and add complexity. Also like how it lightens right in the middle for a bit.  Like sun through the rain clouds. Sounds like you had some issues getting started, but it all came together! Great stuff as always.

Great work with that piano, such complex chords really makes for a thought provoking song.

This is stellar work, the piano and strings sound lovely, everything is mixed very well, definitely one of the best tracks of weeklybeats so far.

lovely!

Was waiting for Thome Yorke to come in...

Delightful. Really beautiful chords and atmospheric build up. I'm really enjoying this

The procrastination is hitting me hard at the moment I know where you are coming from , tis is lovely though.

Haha yep I was wondering who might catch that.  I think I've been listening to their live shows too much lately and I was too lazy to change it. smile

Only in the best way possible is what I meant to say! You should tweet him and see if he could drop a few verses!

No worries I was actually saying to myself as I hit record "this sounds too familiar!" but did I listen to my brain, nope! smile  Haha I wish he'd drop a few sleepy verses over it.

Nice!
