Desolate Ocean

By Tone Matrix on July 26, 2020 5:22 pm

After last week's orchestral thang I knew I'd probably quiet it down a bit this week.  I wasn't feeling tons of inspiration this week and went back to my trusty Stratus library for some mellow pads to ease my mind.  A few piano tracks and "choir horns" (that I got free from SonicCouture) were also used.  Here's some mellow 'float to the bottom of the sea' schtuff...

really lovely!

That's some good, mellow relaxing bottom of the ocean goodness.  Gives me a peaceful feeling like staring at a big aquarium.

Lovely stuff. You really captured that deep ocean vibe. With the way the world is going sometimes, it feels like a great place to escape to.

Super chill track this week, really digging it.  The transition at 3:50 is really cool, its like a really strong resolution.

This track has a strong calming effect on me. I can feel the underwater vibe and it lets my sorrows been washed away. thanks.

This was a slow burn but once I tuned into what it was doing, I really enjoyed it. Really nice feeling of introspection and taking in the infinite beauty of nature.

This really takes you there, in that meditative space. The pad layers make the whole track atmosphere. I really like the subtle keyboard lines that weave into the track. As the pads recede before the 4:00 mark, it's as if we're slowly retreating away. Very subtly done.

I really feel you present a deep sea environment from the first second. The resonant points in the pad create a beautiful rotational feel that make me sink further into the tranquility of this piece.

This is beautiful. You can really feel the desolation.

Fantastic stuff again, love how the gentle synth stabs and piano work their way into the mix, beautiful textures, I’m at the lake in the mountains with the family this week, don’t really know how to swim so hopefully don’t end up at the bottom of the lake.

Super lovely track man! Loved the little synthy blips just poking their way through the piano and pads. Perfectly restrained.

Smooth as silk sounds. Like coasting and descending downward exploring new realms.

dat lush soundscape tho...
