Darkillian's Descent

By Tone Matrix on August 21, 2022 8:06 pm

The original idea and overall chord progression was figured out very early in the week for a change.  I even managed to set aside time daily to just noodle away at the chords I knew I was going to use.  It was sorta like my music school days of having to try and learn the piece I was going to perform for the recital.  Each day I improvised a bit but overall the progression stayed the same.  I was pretending I had a performance to do at the end of the week. So the final recorded (captured) chunk is what you are hearing.  A fan of Dminor and diminished chords smile
thanks for listening

This is a pretty piece with a neat process behind it. Nice work!

Beautiful as always! I wish I could record a whole song in one take!

That is a beautiful track. The variations that you add on top of it, with their dynamics and different melodies really bring it a level higher. Very nice piece.

This is really beautiful. smile

Absolutely beautiful, you are a wizard on the piano, great job at pushing out so much emotion from this.

you take me far away with this mood. lovely music.

I like the plaintive quality and how it builds up in some nice and unexpected ways.  The louder sections add some real weight to the proceedings.  Nice use of dynamics for sure.

Very elegant and graceful
