It's really ominous and tension building in a good way. It really captures a menacing mood.
I get a strong pink floydish welcome to the machine feeling. pictures of lost human souls in postdystopian spaces occur to my mind. It is a dark mood, but not too dark, to give up hope. Let us see, what is coming next.
Has some good movement and melody for a drone piece. Very soundtrack-worthy. The light percussion pattern back in the mix really ties it together. My favorite element. Ambient Lurching Noodle... I think I had for lunch yesterday but not as good as this.
Love the drone, at frequency I get in my chest. Agree the percussion is nice touch to give it that extra movement, and yeah there's a progressing melody in there too that's nice. Its both mysterious and hopeful with some of those higher notes, what will arise next! nice.
Maybe it was the image influencing me, but I immediately had an aquatic feel from this, felt like submerging deep into the ocean. Some really nice movement with the pads used here and the gurgling/chugging percussion.
Great collection of sounds. From the pulsing to synth pads to piano; all combine nicely. Enjoyed the pacing of this also.
