After 9 years of calling my own music "chiptune", this is *technically* the first accurate 8-bit/chiptune song I've ever made, conforming to the NES sound chip hardware limitations.

This song has a *wicked* breakdown/solo in the middle, if you don't mind me saying so tongue

Technically stringing up two NESes is still chiptune, so I guess there are ways around limitations.

Very true, but one of my many dreams is to have something technically playable by a real NES (and only one of them at that wink )

I guess you could try learning famitracker for exactly that purpose.
