TSDT - LPHPBP, our third companion ! (Chapter 15)

By Tomavatars on May 16, 2014 2:37 pm

Earlier in TSDT, we observed the little robot from chapter 3 learning the existence of a political conspiracy and escape the ship in which he was imprisoned.
In Chapter 15, our hero and his companion Powa move towards an enemy camp to free the fairies trapped and allow ghosts to die freely. While they take a break between several battles against local enemies, they hear an object falling to the ground, uttering robotic sounds. They get ready to fight, but they discover our little robot that instantly recognizes the hero. The little robot explodes with joy and shares everything he knows so far. He tells them his name : LPHPBP. He also shares with them the secret of his sonic powers, he teaches them the filter technic, and asks if he can join their group.
The response of our companions is made without hesitation, and thus the gang of the three made their way to the enemy camp.

This is like the best radio program, ever.

Or, "The Point" (if you know that record).

Great melody. Joyful! It should get darker as they approach the enemy camp I guess!

You guess well but as I have a lot of free work to do for indi video games those days, I kind of adapt my refused compositions to weekly beat. So the next chapter will be a kind of option in the scenario ^^

It's by Harry Nillson, from the early 70s. And I meant the plot, not the music (which is light-weight pop). You can listen to clips on Amazon.
