Special - Study for an animation Cadavre Exquis

By Tomavatars on June 22, 2014 10:14 pm

Hey there.

Here is a work I done this week during a training about music and sound design for motion movies.
I will publish a video this week in the feed and in the forum weekly vids topic.
I had a lot of fun making this. I created all the sounds with my mouth and my Pulse 2 synth.

Have fun !!!

Exquisite! But how does this work with one person?

Thanks a lot smile

The sound isn't working as a Cadavre Exquis, only the video for which I worked the sound.
The video is a work in progress during an exhibition in La Gaité Lyric in Paris. The exhibition is about Motion movies.
So the concept is that a few animatosr are leading four months of creation in a room at la Gaité Lyrique. They lead somme people that are there to learn the basis of animating a film, with objets and stuff like this. Only with the frame-by-frame animation technic.

So the video is really a kind of cadavre exquis.

Also, while the training where we made this, I was working with a few people and at the end we made a mix between all our work, it was fun, but really messy.

This track is my work on the movie. I will upload it this week.

Great stop-action animation! And the music fits perfectly.

I particularly liked the land shark.

Hehe, the land shark was really fun. I thought it was the perfect timing for a nice break.
Thanks for your comment smile
