I'm getting pretty bad at dedicating time to Weekly Beats earlier in the week and have scrambled to finish them a few hours before deadline. I wasn't happy with my track last week that was using Ekcle samples and going for an Ekcle-like sound, which was too busy and noisy. So I re-visited it, aiming for a sparser arrangement with an emphasis on the bass and some accents. It includes a low, rumbling, long-sustain and glidey bass with some synth + toy piano like chords on top of some drum samples. Short and sweet.
