I wrote this track on the m8 on the XPT train from Wangaratta back to Melbourne. A real lofi house style track that was quite fun and low pressure. Good to get into the swing of the m8 a bit, but mainly used here for it's portability.

I've just spent the weekend camping and gravel riding in Mitta Mitta and the surrounding valley with my parents. I am absolutely blown away by how beautiful and how quiet that part of the world is. It was truly relaxing. Yesterday, I woke up at sunrise and went for a walk, and for the entire walk with the exception of one car, I did not hear another manmade sound, but a chorus of all sorts of birds, and I wish I had recorded that as my weeklybeat, as it was more spectacular than anything I could produce.

Otherwise, this week I caught up with a few old friends, and even went bowling! So close to getting my arbitrary goal of getting 100 points (I got 98).
