This is just something different. Don't really like it, but it's all part of the practice of making and trying and the routine of habit. Octatrack weirdness I guess.

This week has been mixed. I have been having to spend a lot of time in the car traveling to off-site work, which has not been great for the mind. Being off-site has also led to me not being able to keep a lot of my usual routines which is a struggle. Otherwise though, I have had an incredibly lovely week. I have had some absolutely delightful catch ups with old friends, explored my city as a tourist a little bit, went out for dessert and decaf coffee, had some great conversations, and kept some new and good habits which is good! Yesterday was an absolutely glorious day that I spent going for a run with a friend in one of my favourite places in Melbourne, and I had not run there since injuring myself. I reasonably comfortably did a 12km run which felt amazing, it has been a long time since I'd been able to run that far! This was followed by going to a new cafe, a new lunch spot, exploring a new park, and just generally having a lovely day out. I will be sad to see them head back to their home country later this week. I also then caught up with another friend for dinner and dessert, which was fun. More exploring new places and trying new things. I will also be sad to see them return home later this week. Then, a house party! The first in a very long time. What a fun and busy weekend and it's only Sunday morning!
