A very busy week yet again this week. I have another foster cat staying with me for the holiday period called Pandora! She is lovely but it is taking some time to introduce her to Charlotte, so having to keep them separate is proving a time consuming challenge. I caught up with old friends, I went for a great bike ride, and I sewed an apron with the help of my sister!
This week's weeklybeat is a glitchy exercise. I created a recording on my norns and used my newly acquired grid with the MLR script. I then loaded that into the octatrack for some randomised slicing and granular effects, and then tweaked a few parameters while recording it. More an exercise in texture than it is a musical piece I feel. But I am about to leave the house again to see Alex DJ and do visuals at a rooftop bar! So time is of the essence.
