hell of the northern suburbs

By Tom Foolery on June 26, 2022 8:37 am

Very busy week. Have returned from dark mofo last weekend. My parents and my brother and his wife came to stay this weekend, visiting for a memorial service for my grandfather. I spent the weekend with my family which was lovely, and also went to visit my grandmother, who I have not seen in a long time. Today, I went and took part in the Melburn Roobaix bike ride (aka the hell of the northern suburbs). It was the most adventurous ride I have ever done without leaving the city. It was great to see the bike culture thriving in Melbourne again. Not even the rain-drenched cobblestones or mud could stop it. Quickly whipped up a bass station ambient piece post-ride whilst my parents sit on the couch (as if the time pressure of a deadline wasn't enough).

Oops looks like the render cut off the gradual fade out ending

sounds like that experience of not knowing if the scenery is the one moving or you are, so lovely smile
