frantic nanolooping

By Tom Foolery on March 16, 2024 12:49 am

It has been a v busy week! It is Saturday. I am frantically trying to clean the house before my parents arrive to visit. I also fly out of town tomorrow.

For your listening enjoyment is a nanoloop 1.7.6 jam that I quickly whipped up. This is the first thing I have actually made with nanoloop 1! It's quite fun! A very different approach to nanoloop 2 and also yields very different sonic results from LSDJ. Strangely, I found it fun in a way that I haven't on a gameboy in a while. Just leaning into the sonic characteristics and not trying to overcome them as I often do in LSDJ. Just giving in, switching off, and letting nanoloop drive.

hella bops

Oh wow, Nanoloop! I haven’t played with that in since forever. Love what you did here, it’s crunchy and boopy in all the right ways…8bit goodness with some great sonic flair.
