Pleonasm

Word of the week
Pleonasm - noun; the use of more words than are necessary to express an idea; redundancy.

I'm writing a lot of essays at the minute, so there is a lot of Pleonasm going on in order to boost word counts. It's pleonastic-fantastic!

Also has a bit of a subtle double meaning - I did actually do this weeks 40bpm theme, this entire piece is only 17 bars long... But then I used 64th notes (aka the hemidemisemiquaver) which kind of mitigated the tempo... So doing it at 40bpm was really, completely redundant.

Anyway, this is a super throwaway, I started it at 12:15 and it is currently 12:39... Playing in a musical + uni + work = no fun times for me.

Hahaha "40 bpm" my ass.

It's only 17 bars long!

Cheers dude =P

if only you had more time. A big drunken vocal would be amazing on this i think

*drunken because it sounds piratey / sea shanty like to me

Haha, thanks DrumurBoy. Drunken sea shanty would have been awesome! Hopefully I can come up with something better next week!

Drunken shanty - mind blown.  Great string sounds.  Time totally took me out this week too.  :-/

The start sounds oddly similar to 'the count's lament'... Haha

WOW- awesomeness!
