Fastidiously Hebetudinous

By tiasu on March 4, 2012 12:52 am

Two words in the title this week - fastidious being "meticulous attention to detail" (this piece has way too many time sig changes) and hebetudinous meaning "mentally lethargic" (a wonderful description of how I've felt this week..)

Anyway, I wanted to play with chip sounds after Blip, but I've been really tied up with other stuff up until now. I thought I'd give it a go, as I had some time to experiment. Then I realised I had no idea what I was doing. So I added an organ, some guitar & drums and called it a day.

This sounds awesome dude. Well done!

Tidal WAVEEEEEEEE

This is sick dude!

@vinpous Ta!

@spOOked What?!

@Derris-Kharlan Thanks man!

works well, nice job.

This constantly changing/irregular meter is totally messing with me. But no, I like the feel of this.

@Detective Ta!

@Jetkick The constantly changing meter messed with me too. It took like 73 takes to get the first 4 bars of the guitar down - and that was after I simplified the part about 100 fold!

wow yeah. that meter change was great.. good job wink

this is cool man. I feel like I'm playing a car racing game on the 486

This sounds like if Between the buried and me traded their guitars in for game boys and drum machines. Totally awesome

Thank you!

this is smart !  the bass tones are so BRAAAAAAAPPY and the pikopiko is perfect.  Really like the attention to mixing with this, everything sits where it needs to cool

RAD!
