Dolorifuge

Dolorifuge; noun - something that relieves sadness. Not that I've been sad this week, it was just an interesting word.

Had fun with this track - took just over an hour, tuned my guitar to some open tuning (Open Dm? I don't know.) and just had at it. A few bits I'm not happy with here and there, but what can you do? The electronic background noise at the beginning is on purpose, just FYI. I was experimenting with bookending the piece with that, decided it worked at the start (sort of?) but not at the end.

pretty stuff.. minimalism ftw smile

This is good man, nice change of pace.

Cool track, nice touch with the harmonics

really good track man

Well done, this is a great piece of chilled out guitar. And experimenting with new tunings is awesome.

Cheers peoples, I had fun playing with guitar micing (and a tuning I've never used before) so I'm glad you like it.

Really nice tiasu. Particularly the bookend sections (with our without noise) - Songs: Ohia-ish.

nice!

I like it! Cool Guitarageness.

gorgeous!

smile Thank you! I might try something similar this week, it worked out pretty good - but it's time take it to the next level!
