Experimental electronic piece I created with a vocalist named Anqi Sun. Really enjoyed exploring this with her. Our process included many conversations on love & your heart after a heartbreak; the battle between the wall around your heart to protect you and your desire to love again, and how feelings all around get numbed without vulnerability.

WHOA!  This is totally dope.  Love that repetitive drone and the topic/free talk is really neat.  The improvisational vocals are really pretty, props to Anqi Sun.

Have you seen the film "Call Me By Your Name"?  There is a wonderful conversation about heartbreak and about how many people get colder over time, and give less of their heart over time in attempt to self preserve.

I get hurt and frustrated and feel lonely/misunderstood/disappointed frequently, but I know for certain that those are all known by-products of putting your heart on the line.  And I'd rather get hurt than live in the solitary confinement of self preservation!
