Short and sweet, this track is a quick hitter coming in at only 1.5 minutes. I scrapped the idea I had been working on most of the week and threw some samples from Splice into Ableton Simpler devices and chopped them up quickly. I kept the structure of my song short so that I would have time to do some of the mixing I usually do on my longer tracks. I was inspired to keep this track simple after listening to the interview with Four Tet on the Tape Notes podcast and how he composed his track Looking at Your Pager. His explanation of how simple the overall structure of the song is made me want to hold back on adding more tracks and elements, or even making the track longer in this case.
