Another ambient offering this week, also started on Friday and uploaded Sunday morning. This time I was able to use a field recording I created myself. I am on a trip and staying at a place on Lake Huron, and I was able to capture the sound of the waves with my new handheld recorder. I spent a lot of time trying to find the right sounds to layer on top. I knew I wanted the repetitive piano sounds, strings and bass, but the other pads could have been a number of different combinations. In the end, I went back to presets I was familiar with so I could finish the track.
