27 Weekly Beats 2024 Intertwined

This is another ambient track with no percussion. I have enjoyed making more of these this year. This week, I actually started on a more upbeat, funky track, but I just could not get into it even after forcing myself to work on it a couple of times. I actually pivoted to this ambient track on Friday and now I am uploading it on Sunday morning, so it came together quickly. The synth presets I used incorporate some textures that sound like waves and water droplets and I really like those elements. If I had more time, I would have liked to have incorporated a field recording or two. I am headed out on a trip shortly, and I hope to get out and create some of my own recordings of nature sounds to use in the coming weeks.

Nice. Sometimes you have to get out of it to get back into it. I usually end up with a ton of new unintended stuff that way. Looking forward to you field recording  stuff - from a fellow field recordist - Zoom H5

This is so good, calming and mesmerizing

Thank you! This week (Week 28) I used one of my own field recordings. I recently got the Zoom H1n and will maybe work my way up to an H5 one day!
