Nice way to get samples.  Yeah, I think you definitely should have recorded the kids messing around.  I did that a few weeks ago and it was really fun.  But as you said, perhaps next time. 

This does for sure have a dark vibe to it, and as much as I definitely have liked hearing some of the more upbeat tracks this week, there's always a place for ominousness in music as well.  Plus, the corona virus hysteria will eventually pass but recordings are forever.  Even if the mood doesn't totally click now, it certainly still will at some point.

This time i just dropped the vid into reaper cutted and stretched and pitched the sounds.
It really depends on the situation i love to sample on the Sp-404 but you don't have timestretching or pitchshifting... so i use it mostly when i start with the samples...
