jazzy g

Flipped some samples this week. It's mostly one single sax sample...processed in many ways... First thing you hear is that sax. Maybe it's a bit wild...

Hope you enjoy...
Have a nice week!

I would have never guessed that opening sound was a sax sample.  Later on I can tell a little bit.  I like the drums, too. It's good to get a bit wild sometimes.  Fun experiment.

Yes — how did you process the sax to get that sound? I'd be more of a jazz fan if it was like this. ::)

Loved it!

Supreme drumbeats. Love that jazzy vibe. Supergut.

Great sample in the beginning sets the tone well. Like all the samples and drum fills.

Great drums, I’m always impressed with all the variation you put into your tracks, this ones got a nice vibe to it with the sax manipulations

i too like how the sax sounds more like an old-timey piano at the beginning. nice work using the sample in several different ways

Jazzy G-man! That tremolo effect is a nice touch on the sax. Drums are banging. I like the brief bass thumps. A bunch of nice cuts in there. Dope work!

I can see how you did the piano a bit, the bass eludes me a little though.

Uuh guys, sorry maybe my description was a bit missleading. The first Piano is simply a piano. Also the high played bass in the last part. But the Sax is playing constantly through out the Song and the  deep piano like sound in the second half of the song is the sax...

Thanks you sir!
Maybe you could try these...
Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation - The Admirals Game
The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble - I Forsee The Dark Ahead, If I Stay

This time i chopped and processed my samples in Renoise. I used Ringmod(Tremolo),Analog Filter,Ping Pong Delay, Ringmod(Lofi),Flanger(birdy) and Ringmod(Sparkelizer) in various combinations. The first sound is pitched down like 4 or 5 Oktaves. Later on i choppe again stretched and reversed some of the sounds.

Thank you... the first sound was pretty much an accident, cause i didn't had the octaves right on the keyboard.

I see, that might've been what I was talking about.

Excellent drums and cool use of the saxesss. Nice work!

very saxy track! smile
No seriously, it works superwell. I could totally hear a Tribe Called Quest type of rap over this!
Maybe you should try a rap yourself someday!?!
