Digital Detox

By theGuen on June 3, 2018 8:45 pm

First, sorry that i was a bit quiet the last two weeks...
I have two weeks holidays right now and the last week before holidays is always crazy at work...
The first week we were at the baltic sea and i thought i could have a beer in the sunset and listen to all your tracks.
But no... the mobile reception was so bad that it was impossible to listen to any music... Everything was so slow that i barely used my phone over the last week.
Yeah so this was indeed some digital detox for me wink And i guess this this track also has a bit of a digital detox...
no weired synths. Again it's mandolin, eguitar and ebass. accompanied by vst-piano and -drums.
For the second week we are going to visit some friends and family. So maybe i am not to responsive this week as well.

Hope you enjoy...
Have a nice week!!!

Have a nice holiday!  I was on vacation about a month ago and yeah it was a little hard to listen and comment on my phone that week.  I like that bass line a lot.  It really keeps this track moving along!

Great to hear that mandolin back again heart The piano is a great touch, it fits into the mix perfectly as a softer tone than the others. Enjoy visiting your friends and fam, sounds like a great time heart

As cosmic cairns said: the bassline is incredible good. everything fits together and plays togther in a harmoniously way. Have a nice time.

dang dude, the guitars are so sick on this!  glad you had a digital detox though!  two weekends ago, I didn't go on the internet for 3+ days and it was amazing.

Good, solid progression and your usual excellent instrumentation.

Solid fresh live sound! Lots of holiday brightness. At first I missed the mandolin, it's so subtle but very nice.  My focus is on the tasty bass and drum groove.  Enjoy your time off!

This is great stuff. I like the constant beat that's carrying the song.

As others have said great bass and blend of the guitar and piano, also on vacation and not so great headphones with me, overall sounds great but the guitar sounds a little quiet to me, I’m sure it would sound better on decent headphones

The bass and drums are in a lovely groove with each other while the mandolin flutters in and out.  Yais!

Fantastically melodic and really nice instrumentation.

this track is amazing! one of the best i've heard all year. the drums keep moving, the bassline keeps moving, and every thing else comes in and out so fluidly. really great work putting this together

Thanks to all of you for these wonderfull comments. I was indeed a bit proud of that bass... So i am extremly happy that so many have mentioned it big_smile
Most fun was playing that guitar solo while thinking: Oh thats kitschy wink Bu it's maybe a bit low in volume...

This is excellent! Maybe one of my favorite tracks of yours. Keep up the good work!
