Eeerie!

Look over your shoulder.

I love how this is practically electronica folk music - I was invested in the story you were talling, and that’s something changeup at 2:50 was the perfect accent. Also, “how the fuck did that scar get there” is a great line. smile

My opinion/suggestion: I’d love to hear the backing track share the stage with your voice a bit more - perhaps roll off the low end and reduce volume a touch on vocals to seat it in the mix a bit more. Maybe a touch of phaser or chorus to accent the “mechanical” aspect of the story in your voice.

That is all opinion though. I enjoyed this a lot!

Thank you very much for the kind words and critique!

I find it interesting that my LEAST favourite part of the song (The changeup @ 2:50) is what stood out to you positively! I felt it was way too abrupt but it seems it resonates!

And thanks for the mixing notes!

If I answer the phone and this song starts playing, I'll know I'm doomed. Quirky concept and really wild sound. "Whoever built this has got to be a shut-in" made me laugh. The changeup is COOL!! It's perfect for the reveal of the builder.
