This week I slow burned the work on this song, which felt a little more relaxing than previous weeks. I recorded some feedback from the Audrey II into the Torso S-4, and applied a bunch of modulation. I busted out my old MPC 1000 running JJOS I've had for a million years, and made the drums using a multi-sampled drum program I've had hanging out for a long time. After I track the whole thing into my DAW I added some automation for running the drums through this open source VST called livecut. Livecut is a wrapper around a supercollider library called BBCut. One of my goals for this year is to make a norns script that gives livecut like functionality in more of a pedal like form factor. There is a little hum in the track that I couldn't quite figure out how to get rid of, I think it's coming from one of the drones I have low in the mix. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with the results.

Unsettling, flows very nicely, I found it very intriguing. Great track!

that was awesome! Nice texture contrasts and interesting grooves
