This is the intro for an old project I dusted off to work on. Hopefully the rest of it will be in shape as well soon.

Thanks! Now the rest of it has to measure up too...

So do you have anything planned for the rest of it?

Yeah. It's based on a old jam session which I sort of made into a structured album, but I was not entirely happy with the result, so I left it there. Now I am going to give it a second try to see if I can make it this time.

I have also got a lot more gear now and I was thinking about fixing it up to be a live set in order to re-record the whole thing live to capture the flow better and make the pacing a little more natural.

That's the plan anyway. smile

Sounds like a plan.

I could see the stage, dimly lit, all the fans waiting with baited breath, everyone sweating in the warm summer night, stars twinkling, heat radiating.  The show is about to begin!  The first musician walks on stage and begins playing the keyboard.  As the ethereal melody continues, the other band members come on stage, strapping on a bass guitar, sitting behind a drum kit, turning on an amplifier.  The lights slowly fade up.  Multiple colors swell.  The keyboard stops and echoes...

and then...

"That's it for today folks, come see us again next month!"
