tidalcycles experiment

By thawkins on September 9, 2018 2:45 pm

I played around with the Tidal Cycles live coding language today (https://tidalcycles.org/). All patterns from live coding, all sounds from Korg MicroX. It seems a really fun tool for messing around, I hope I have more opportunities to play with it in the future. Only one big issue is that I could not figure out how to sync it to Live (or vice versa).

Guess who forgot to fade out the percussion track...

If this track isn't 6+ long, I'm going to riot.

...WOW you dodged a bullet there, mister!

Definitely sounds intentional on the percussion, not really distracting or anything!  Nice job!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. It was difficult to keep the track going for more than 6 minutes because this time I played no solos or anything that usually end up making things longer. So I just used long fadeins and fadeouts. smile

Glad to hear the percussion does not bother much.
