Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I started this last week in anticipation of the first entry. I'm excited to have more of a reason to finish and share music. Hopefully i'll get a little better at mixing too. This was just an attempt at a chill tune based around a talk/singing sample.

Nice atmospheres and bizarre vocal samples. Can't argue with that. 
love the feel, but damn that WAAAAAAA goes on for too long. I think it should come in every now and then, it takes away from the rest of the elements.

speaking of mixing, perhaps a little reverb shared between your vocals and ..say, a synth pad? might help the vocal samples sit better in the mix. just a suggestion on the other hand, you might prefer that the sample stand out a bit more
