Phew, what a rough week! There's some boo-boos at the end but I couldn't conjure enough energy to re-record it. Here's to brighter days big_smile

Beautiful. Nice to see some dots on lines here! Nice engraving too. A question - why omit the triplet indicator in the bottom part (or why not put in 12:8 time)? Pedanticism aside: +fav. Will check out your other works! I'm disappointed that I managed to miss them!

I have the silliest of excuses: I had it in 12/8 before but I hated using dotted eights for the melody; I should of left the triplet indicators on (at least for the first triplet) but I tried aiming for that sort of vague look (like Rachmaninoff's and Chopin's cello sonatas) so everything can be held up to interpretation! These notations are just first editions, so I'll likely do better corrections, add some fingerings and add more legit stuff to make it look like it's published later on.

But thanks for listening!

Whatever is being discussed above is great and all but Im just a sucker for solo piano. Bravo.

way to drop dat classical.  the ebbing and flowing nature is cool!  what digital piano or vst are you making use of btw?

:3

It's NI's New York Grand!

Yeah, completely dig where you're coming from. Particularly the Chopin. I can hear echoes of one of his preludes, quite strongly. I think your interpretation as a pianist is pretty damn good too.

Nice to know that salon music is still alive & well. Thanks again for the score.
