Beautiful. Nice voicing throughout. The playing seems a bit uneven sometimes (almost choppy) while some parts are really smooth. I'm trying to learn the piano, it's super hard, but fun! Thanks for sharing
I like the whatever technique it is that you're employing with the some of the notes are played slightly ahead of the beat and then others are played slightly before, or just this feeling of the tempo speeding up slightly and slowing down slight before the end of the phrase. It gives it this frenetic feeling of catching up and slowing down and its clearly very deliberate since your time is on point for other sections of the song. The ending in particular is very beautiful, I enjoyed listening to this.
I got glimpses of the Mystic Forest from Final Fantasy 6 in this, and they were wonderful.
The two parts connect in a weird way, but they're both very nice.
very nice piece -- performed and recorded well. the block chords at the end of each part resolves beautifully.
