Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

A friend of mine has a basement full of drums and percussion doohickeys and when I visited his house the other day was able to record him playing a couple of patterns on the different instruments (along with some hand clapping 
)
Pretty much all of the drums in this track (which itself doesn't have much more than drums in it) are from that session!

love it. great piece. tight groove and lots happening, but not too full.
Apart from the wonderful percussion in this one, that bass is killer, mate!!!
Melodically simple and concise, with a lot of small details. Always evolving. Reminds me of the best DFA/James Murphy and the early The Juan MacLean.
