Weird, quirky track using some African samples for the "chorus", if you can call it that...

This is awesome. It is my favorite style of music. It sounds a lot like my friend who produces under the name Omble. This is his soundcloud if you want to check it out: https://soundcloud.com/omble
loved this track, reminded me of an earlier Bonobo style composition. truly impressive stuff man :]
really enjoyed this, the texture and instrumentation is very nice
Wow, thanks so much everyone!
I'm frankly quite touched by your nice comments, better get writing for next (erh, this!) week
Thanks for the recommendations as well, just spent the best part of an hour listening to Omble's fantastic music!
It's really lovely, I hope for more goodies coming next week! How much was recorded? The whole thing has a great lo fi feel to it but still very well produced.
Tiger Lightning, thank you! Actually nothing was recorded as such (if you mean from external instruments), but I tried my best to make everything sound slightly "broken" and organic. For example the percussion was "hand-played" on drumpads without worrying too much about quantization, etc.
Sounds of wood, jungle, nature! This is bliss! Love this absolutely!
