Kinda possibly maybe sometimes

I got a new keyboard (Yamaha MX-49). As you can tell, I haven't played in any real kind of way for years.
Took a few takes to get this, I'm mostly just improvising. Played live and recorded directly into Olympus WS-831. It's not a bad unit, but it's shit for this purpose and you can really hear it on this recording. It's actually a voice recorder and it has some kind of builtin compression that can't be disabled, so it's ramping up the line noise while I'm not playing, not to mention clipping a little bit.
I'm leaving it though, after a bit of post processing it doesn't sound too bad; I think the distortion actually adds to it. Sounds like something an alien archaeologist might dig up in the far future.
Also, I don't have a better recorder because I just blew all my money on keyboards.
