I IV V (1, 4, 5)

By SteveSkiano on April 7, 2024 8:58 pm

This song is referring to the I IV V chord progression. It's like...a metaphor and shit. I was going for an Oasis, Champagne Supernova type of feel, but it turned out more Christian rock. lol. I like it though. I hope you enjoy smile

Heaven yeah!! This was awesome. Really takes me back to the 1990s. Reminds me more of some of the softer mainstream "alternative" rock bands that were less memorable which is why I can't say the name. This is super polished and sounds super pro. Modern day mastering is so much better than 1990s LOL.

Checked this out because of the title, and I’m glad I did! This song is fun, and really fully realized. Love all the textures and layers in there. Great background vocals! It might have missed Oasis because it’s pretty clean sounding - go get in a fight with your brother and then record 😁

Your next task will be to write I - V - iv - IV.

Dang it, I - V - vi - IV.
