Week22 - PolyAMrhythms
By Stefano D'Alessio on June 1, 2014 9:45 pm
PolyAMrhythms is a piece created from one didjeridoo sample processed in different ways thru a custom made amplitude modulation effect. The AM is generated by the beat frequency of four polyrhythmic LFOs running “against” each other and then passing thru wrap-around wave shaper and resonant filters. The result is a composition where the basic sound continuously changes its rhythmics and texture thru pseudo-chaotic disturbances
The track has been entirely created in three days (30 May - 1 June 2014).
Sound processing made in Reaktor.
Composed in Logic.
