Week04 - Deloop
By Stefano D'Alessio on January 26, 2014 5:00 pm
Deloop is a composition that uses simple and ripetitive sample loops as starting points for developing generative non repeating soundscapes.
The basic sound layer that runs thru the whole piece is a short, mono note, acoustic guitar loop, this is effected by a complex chain of audio processes that transform it into a constant changing sonic flow. Other layers are more or less processed recordings and loops of cymbals, falling coins and bowed guitar sounds that support the main guitar layer.
The track has been entirely created in five days (22-26 January 2014).
Special audio processing created in Max/MSP, composed in Logic.
