Week21 - Granular water

By Stefano D'Alessio on May 25, 2014 1:23 pm

Granular water is track entirely made with granular synthesis. The whole piece is made from a short recording of a toilet flushing, from the button pushing until the water stop to run. Different layers are made playing with fundamental attributes of granular synthesis, grains length, space between grains, grains envelope types, position in original sample.
The track has been entirely created in three days (23 - 25 May 2014).
Granular synthesis made in Reaktor.
Composed in Logic.

Beautiful.

Glorious granular synthesis.  Very nice work indeed.  From the somewhat violent outbursts to the flowing of natural water.  Great ending.
